                1:30pm-3pm Indoor Shooting Range

The presentation and trailer will cover the following topics

Outdoor Air Equipment

The trailer emphasizes the importance of construction in outdoor air unit design, specifically robust insulation and unit coating. You will be able to see physical samples of various coated and uncoated products that have gone through salt spray testing as well as a comparison of injected foam vs. foam board panels. Efficiency requirements and the required transition to low global warming potential (GWP) A2L refrigerants have changed how outdoor air equipment is designed and operated. This trailer includes an in-depth look at the components that increase efficiency and provide other benefits such as sound reduction and more precise temperature and humidity control. A2L leak detection sensors are also installed to provide a better understanding of how the unit is designed and controlled with the new A2L refrigerants.

Air-Source Heat Pump (ASHP)

Electrification is a trending topic around the country, with some local and state codes requiring the transition from fossil fuels to all electric HVAC solutions. Take an in-depth look at how an air-source heat pump operates with an animation and lights installed in the unit on the trailer. Learn how it works, the benefits of an ASHP, design considerations, and what improvements Greenheck has made to their ASHP offering with the transition to A2L refrigerants, specifically with low ambient lockouts and efficiency improvements.

Advanced Controls and Applications

The trailer includes graphics of different high percentage outdoor air applications, covering unit design, control strategies, and sensor requirements. Get an in-depth look at Greenheck’s configurable control options, including BMS options and a remote monitoring web user interface solution that comes standard with factory controls. Finally, learn more about the end-of-line test that all Greenheck units go through before arriving on-site, making for a simple and effective start-up.
